Company
New!
I have always browsed other companies sites such as Ad Deum, Dominic Walsh, and several others {many of them} and saw something I would like to have present in RDC. I would like to have an "Alumi" section giving contact info and 'where are they now?'. But, I saw that many past RDC's members did not act accordingly in terms of being in the company; so, I cannot do that as I would cause friction and release unwarranted comments. What I can do is, focus on the people who served honorably as giving insights on their present place.

Where are we now? {under construction}
My first Assist Director, Maria Mendoza, is now married and we spoke back a couple of years ago. She teaches pilates at Hope Stone.
Katherine Miles {Kit Kat} had to leave DE due to here and her finacee were going to have a baby! I loved working with her---and miss her personality. She was just cool! Period.
Brea Cali {guest artist}, only had a short stint RDC, but was great fun. She danced with Sandra Organ Dance Company during the time I knew her {late 2002}. She has since left Texas.
Bryttany Lee, well she is currently managing Fred Astaire Studios in Kingwood. She is trained in ballroom and hip hop, but I think chose ballroom! She became my second assistant director and was really a pleasure to work with.
Millette White, what do you say about the best dancer I ever worked with. So professional and well mannered. I need to thank her parents! She was the only dancer to have a solo spot in one of my pieces and set her own choreography. I did that because I felt she needed to showcase herself as a professional dancer. She is no longer in Texas. I hope she is still dancing as any company would be proud to call her a full member.
Kristin Clement, we actually met at Houston Met before the company. She provided alot of choreography and solos for our first show. Sadly, we did not see eye to eye and she left. But while it was good---it was.
Elizabeth "Lizzie" Quinto, was first a competitive skater. We had fun, but sadly, she was let go. I let my role as director blur into friend and thats a no no.
Tina Oliphant, a great dancer and danced in Vegas. Upbeat personality and full of life.
Tervivia "Kiki" Tyson, another shortlived dancer, but unforgettable! She had to quit due to personal complications.
As for the last 6 dancers, all but one were the biggest learning curve. Cassandra Shaffer, Arielle Garrison, and Shanon Adams, were perhaps the shortest season of dancers I ever employed--one month, then they decided to resign. Angela Huffpower, again proved to be not with the vision and direction of RDC {putting others needs above your own}; and Roland Latson, who I loved as a dancer but decided to resign after Ms. Huffpower was let go. The final dancer, LaKiaya Evans, is the reason why I kept on pushing ahead. She showed me there are more things I can achieve to and fulfill. She opened my eyes to a whole new world that I didn't think was possible.
